Best Tequila for Cinco de Mayo El Diablo Cocktail, According to Expert

Devilishly celebrate Cinco de Mayo with an El Diablo cocktail. Ginger beer (or ale) and lime juice make El Diablo cocktails fiery and acidic, while crème de cassis adds rich richness.  

This made us ponder which tequila pairs best with our Cinco de Mayo El Diablo cocktail.

She agrees with other experts that Reposado tequilas' rich flavors work well in many complex drinks.   

Two months in oak barrels are required for reposado tequilas. You may drink Reposado tequila neat since it goes down gently.
